1. 제목 : Polarized Raman Spectroscopy for Graphene Research
2. 연사 : Hyeonsik Cheong
3. 일시 : 2012년 4월 16일 5:00 PM
4. 장소 : 301동 101호 강의실
5. 내용 :
Raman spectroscopy is one of the most versatile tools in graphene research. It can be used to determine the number of layers, the doping level, the defect density and distribution, etc. Even the electronic band structure can be studied using Raman spectroscopy. By controlling the polarization of the excitation laser and the scattered light, additional information such as the crystallographic orientation can be deduced. In this seminar, various applications of Raman spectroscopy in graphene research will be reviewed and some recent data from Prof. Cheong’s group will be shown.
